Why did women stop wearing twister bead necklaces? My mom had tons of these.
my mother was SO SERIOUS about twister beads. she would hang them on her closet doorknobs. she had so many that you couldn’t actually use the knobs - she just left her closet open. she tried to get me to wear them all the time, but i couldn’t. they would pinch the hair on the back of my neck. i wasn’t at the point in my life to (a) suffer for fashion, and (b) dress like a 13 year old insurance claim adjuster.
