i’m trying to plot out a trip to NYC. it can’t be very long, just a few days. maybe a week, if i can get work done during the day.
so many shows! i want to catch shows that are run by comedy comrades (Beards & Friends) and comedy people i kinda know (Kabin, Hot Soup, NYC Broken Comedy). i want to get up as much as possible (i’m currently sitting in bed, trying to memorize the bad slava list of open mics again). i want a chicken & black bean quesadilla from the creek & the cave. oh lord, i just found a site that seems to list the best comedy shows in NYC - it’s so extensive my scrolling finger cramped up.
i want to know if my fever dream decision to move to NYC in a year is crazy. maybe it is, but just THINKING about doing comedy in new york makes my heart race. in a good way.
