king, the second album by belly, was uneven. i was hell-bent on digging it back in the day. i revisit it once a year; today it held up okay. i only skipped a couple of songs. it’s silly that i make myself go through the whole record when i know that all i want to do is listen to this song on repeat for roughly 12 days straight. come to think of it, that’s what i ended up doing back in the day, too.
