there’s a comic in atlanta named paige bowman. she’s funny. she seems to have cornered the market on single lady with cat navigating the dating scene, only her jokes aren’t jaded. (they shouldn’t be - she’s 24, for pete’s sake. life is just beginning for her.)

i like her. sometimes i bust her balls a little bit, but that’s just because i’m in awe of her confidence. one thing i like about her is her sense of style. it’s a touch off kilter, but not in a look at me, ain’t i soooo different way. case in point, she wears a pair of ugly 80’s mom oversized glasses.

they kind of obscure her cuteness, which may be her subconscious’ point. or maybe she just likes the freakin’ glasses. i dunno. all i know is she started a tumblr of people in her glasses and it makes me laugh.

i made it onto her tumblr yesterday.

and as somebody who knows from cool ugly glasses…

…i whole heartedly approve.
