(actually, more like 29, considering that crappy hair color job. DIY for life, though.)
i don’t know it i mentioned it, but this was a rough comedy week for me. my mojo was gone; i couldn’t get hold of anything. and it was exasperating because everyone else seemed to be having the best sets ever. i was doing a lot of questioning & soul searching. it was actually stressing me out.
last night, i did a couple of guest spots for neal brennan at the laughing skull. they went well, praise jeebus. especially the second show….ESPECIALLY the second show, haha. i also did a set at a 1am show, so i managed to tell jokes on my birthday. that was fun, too! and i returned home to find this in my living room, courtesy of my lock-picking sister.
yeah. so far, forty has been alright, alright, alright, matthew mcconaughy-style.
