wednesday night, SoSure & i went to athens to watch hannibal buress do what he do. he was great, duh. i kinda want to see him live as much as possible & track his growth. it’s equal parts sick and inspiring.
i drove, so we had to listen to whatever i was feeling that day, which was nikka costa. the song above was playing and i stopped our conversation at my favorite part - the ridiculous harmonies that close out the bridge (bridge at 2:45, harmonies at 3:17). we listened, then i showed him the goosebumps i get every time i listen to that part. i showed him my actual goosebumps.
we have to be friends forever, cuz that’s pretty much like becoming blood brothers in my world.
