The Fear
I’ve got a big show tonight. Probably the biggest show I’ve ever been on. Kyle Kinane is coming to Athens and my buddy Luke put me on the show. This is a big deal to me. I’m a little nervous. A little scared. I’m a huge fan of everyone on the show, especially Kyle.
Kyle has smart fans. Fans that are fans of comedy. I’m going first and I hope I do what I do and I do it well. I’m confident but I’m also under the impression that if I don’t grab them immediately it could get rough.
I also just wanna be validated. By the Atlanta comics who are driving a good bit to see the show and especially by Kyle. I just don’t want to suck.
This is the fear (or as Bill Burr would say, the feeeeeaaaayeeah) and I got it bad today. I’m excited. But I’m also nervous as shit.
